Man-to-Man confab to discuss men’s responsibilities at home

Over 800 men are expected to gather at a maiden ‘Man-to-Man’ Conference on May Day in Accra, to deliberate over their leadership roles as heads of the family, to nurture peaceful and prosperous home.

The conference, under the auspices of BN Michael Ministry, would be held on the theme: “I Am The Man,” to highlight the sense of confidence, boldness, and self-assertiveness of man, and as head of the home, to provide sustenance for the family.

Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye, Senior Pastor of BN Michael Ministry of the Maker’s House Chapel International, told journalists at the launch of the Conference that men needed to be empowered socially, economically and spiritually, to effectively deal with troubles at home.

“When a man gets it right everything in the society goes right, and if men are able to do what is expected of them, societal problems will reduce to the barest minimum,” he said.

Dr Nyamekye noted that the society placed a lot of demand on men to deliver because man was created and given responsibilities, according to the biblical doctrine.

“For example, if a man marries a woman and places his name on her, she automatically becomes his responsibility, that’s all Man2Man is about,” he added.

Central to the Conference will be discussions on Man and his role and responsibility as the head of the home, and as a pillar in building financial security for the family.

There will also be a focus on some pertinent health issues that affect the health of men and their well being, organizers of the conference said.
