Library complex for Ho-Bankoe E.P. School inaugurated

Ho, Oct. 27, GNA - Rev Frank Anku, a past Synod Clerk of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, has inaugurated a Ghc 47,000 library for the Ho Bankoe Evangelical Presbyterian Basic School with an appeal to young people to cultivate the habit of reading.

The facility project, including a computer laboratory, was financed by Children Inspiring Hope (CIH) and Entire Village Computer Organization (EVCO Africa), both non-governmental organizations in the US in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Association of the school and Ho-Bankoe E.P. Church.

Miss Amy Gaylor, President of CIH and Mr Seth Owusu, Executive Director of EVCO Africa, commended all organizations involved in executing the project for their commitment.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Isaac Kodobisah, expressed his gratitude to the benefactors and pledged the Ho Assembly's support in maintaining the facility.

Miss Vida Oyiadzo, the Headmistress, appealed to other philanthropists to assist the bank.

Those present at the function include Mr Emmanuel Keteku, Ho Municipal Director of Education and Mr. Ebenezer Dzikunu, Regional Manager of E.P. Educational Unit.
