Let's All Help Reduce Road Accidents

Eastern regional commander of Motor Traffic and Transport Department, chief superintendent Ebenezer Larbi has called on both drivers, passengers as well as pedestrians to be careful on our roads especially during this easter festivities in order to reduce accidents on our roads. According to him it is the only way to have accident free easter festivities.
He disclosed this to the media today at a sensitization patrol at Bunso junction.
Chief supt. Larbi however pledged his outfit's commitment to ensure our roads are free from accidents to protect lives that are normally lost during festivities like this.
He was also grateful to all other stakeholders for their collaboration to ensure our roads are always safe.
Executive director of National road safety commission(NRSC), May Ofosu Yeboah expressed worry that most accidents normally occurs during festivities and holiday outings among other factors assured the public that much is been done to reduce the cancer. She therefore called for collaborative efforts to help in the fight against road accidents.
" We are embarking on this exercise to create awareness to the general public of the need to play our roles well being a driver or passenger" she added.
The eastern regional director of NRSC, Kwasi Yirenkyi also commended all stakeholders for their immense contribution to the course of ensuring sanity on our roads and therefore appealed to transport owners to do ensure vehicles are in good condition before they are allowed to load passengers.
He promised the exercise would be done periodically to help accidents within the region.
