Kwanwoma outdoors Landlords Association

Adum-Kwanwoma Landlords and Ladies Association, a residential union which was formed last year to bring together property owners and champion the cause of development at Adum-Kwanwoma, a community located within Kwanwoma District has duly been inaugurated.

Formed under the request of the chief for the area, Nana Kofi Agyei IV and with a current membership drive of over 70, the union has been set up to work in collaboration with the chief to initiate and execute developmental projects in the area of education, health, road infrastructure, among others pertaining to the welfare of residents with security as its crucial target.

During the inauguration, the chairman for the association, Ken Akakpo bemoaned the poor road networks linking several residential quarters to the heart of the community and from the community to Kumasi metropolis and therefore called on the District Assembly to offer them the assembly’s earth moving machine to put them into a proper shape for easy accessibility.

The development of Adum-Kwanwoma community, he noted, cannot be done all alone by the traditional council but through a joint effort of all property owners and residents in the area.

The developmental projects set up in the community by Nana Agyei IV, the chairman underlined are outstanding and therefore require massive support of all tenants for the full realization of the facelift of the community.

In an interview with the patron, Nana Agyei IV, he stated that his passion for the development of the community cannot in any way be thwarted by his detractors and that all who were consumed by the impression that Adum-Kwanwoma will never see progress under his leadership have grossly deceived themselves.
He said more initiatives are in the pipeline to add more color to the existing projects.

Sounding wild in his dialogue with this paper, he warned that any person or individual who will attempt to resist the development and peace in the community will not be tolerated.

Individuals who have made a purchase of any tract or tracts of land for over three years from the time of purchase and have failed to commence their respective projects will have their right to ownership revoked and their lands sold out.

He, therefore, ordered a one month grace period which expires at the close of this month. All defaulters he announced will forfeit their ownership at the end of the one month ultimatum.
