Kristo Asafo Church presents food items and cash to schools

Nkoranza (B/A), Nov. 14, GNA - Christ Reformed Church of Ghana, popularly called Kristo Asafo Ministry, has presented 25 bags of maize and 1.4 million cedis to inmates of Royale Child Foundation Orphanage and Shalom Special School for the mentally handicapped at Nkoranza.

The Orphanage received 10 bags and 700,000 cedis while Shalom Special School was given 15 bags and 700,000 cedis.

The donation was part of activities marking the Church's 23rd charity and technology exhibition.

Other organizations in Kumasi were also presented with various gifts and a number of tricycles and sewing machines were also given to some physically challenged persons across the country to enhance their living standards.

Mr Karikari Bediako-Poku, founder and project director of the orphanage commended the Church for assisting the Orphanage. He paid a special tribute to the founder and head of the Ministry, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo, for ensuring the growth of the church and for contributing to national development.

Mr Bediako-Poku appealed to other religious bodies to emulate the Ministry's gesture and towards national development since according to him "service to mankind is service to God".
