A GH?285,000.00 Police Station built at Patransa near Kuntanase in the Bosomtwe District, has been inaugurated with a call to everybody to be responsible in their conduct and get right with the law.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Kofi Boakye, the Ashanti Regional Commander, warned that any infractions of the law would not be accepted.

The police station was funded by the management of Kessben College, to provide security protection for students, faculty members of the College and the community.

It comes with a five-bedroom accommodation, kitchen, offices for the station officer, criminal investigation department (CID), cells and washrooms.

DCOP Boakye underlined the determination of the police to act decisively to tackle acts of criminality and lawlessness to maintain the peace and security of the nation.

They would be professional, firm and even-handed in the performance of their duties, he added.

He urged the people to continue to provide them with useful leads to track down and arrest miscreants in the society.

He gave high marks to the College for the initiative and invited other private businesses to learn from their example.

Mr. Stephen Boateng, the Chancellor, said they would continue to give the needed support to the police to fight crime.
