Kassena Nankana West approves DCE

Paga (UE/R), April 4, GNA - The Kassena Nankana West District Assembly in the Upper East Region on Friday approved the President's nomination of Mr Edward Nchor as District Chief Executive for the area. He got 30 out of 40 votes cast by the assembly members. Mr Nchor thanked the assembly members for the confidence they had in him and promised to work hard to enhance development in the area. The assembly had elected and sworn into office, Mr. Martin Alichima as its Presiding Member. He polled 37 out of the 43 votes cast. Mr Alichima urged members to bury their differences and work together for the development of the district.
