Joyce Aryee commends Vive-Chancellor of UEW

Winneba (C/R), Oct. 26, GNA - Ms Joyce R. Aryee, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines (GCM), has commended Professor Jephus Anamuah-Mensah, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), on his receipt of an award of Companion of the Order of the Volta, conferred on him by President J A Kufuor, a few months ago. In her letter of commendation to Prof. Anamuah-Mensah, Ms Aryee said: "The award conferred on the Vice-Chancellor, demonstrates that President Kufuor has clearly acknowledged Prof. Anamuah-Mensah's hard work, commitment, loyalty and honesty to his dear country, Ghana and therefore deserves this award for his excellent service in his chosen career".

"I salute you for the honour bestowed upon you". May the Gracious Lord continue to bless, guard and guide you in your endeavours". "May His Divine Power shield you through the years ahead". "Accept my heartiest congratulations and stay blessed always, the message added".

In another congratulatory message signed by the Chairman of the University of Education Council, Professor J Kofi Bucknor, the Council viewed the award as the recognition of the distinguished academic career and dedication to the improvement of the educational standards in the country.

The message further stated: "This is indeed a great honour to our University and we salute you on this achievement. We hope that there will be many more".
