J-Care Foundation Celebrates Boxing Day With Countryside Children’s Home

Christmas, a time of sharing and merry making is well planned and lived during these modern times. Family travel long distances to show love and affection for loved ones. Adults treat themselves to the finer things available whiles Kids are spoiled with assorted items. However, in the Good interest of showing love and sharing in the gift of life.
Meanwhile the less privileged in society are often forgotten during this season of sharing. J- Care Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for the Needy and Less Privileged decided to spend Boxing Day with Children at the Country side Children Welfare Home at Awutu Bawjiase in the Central Region to address this situation and thereby send smiles to the faces of the children who are normally forgotten during such seasons.
Speaking to the Co-founder of J-Care foundation, he hinted on the organization’s mission of improving on the conditions of deprived and needy Children in Ghana by assisting with their shelter, health care, education and food with the view of ensuring that their potentials are fully nurtured.
Mr. Adade also noted that, it is the vision of the organization to give every Ghanaian child the opportunity to live and grow in Peace, love and happiness.
Madam Alice Adade, Co- Founder of J-Care Foundation who led in a presentation to the Home, noted that, every kid has the right to be happy and expressed the foundations dedication of making as many children in Ghana happy by “bringing to them such love as being presented today by J-care foundation” she mentioned. She presented 10 bags of Rice, 22 boxes of voltic mineral water, 5 boxes of bathing soap, 50 tubers of yam,23 pieces of student mattresses. Other items presented include 1bag of Beans, 4 bags of Maize, 5 boxes of Gino Cooking oil, 2 boxes of tomato paste and cash donation of Two Thousand Ghana cedis .
Country Side Children’s welfare Home has good records of survival of all the abandoned kids sent to them by the Department of social welfare and elsewhere, some of whom arrived in critical conditions. The Home’s preparatory School offers excellent tuition for the entire pupils from the community as well as members of the home.
According to Mr.Peter Bamfo, Communications manager of the foundation, the country side children’s home was chosen as one of the many other Children’s homes selected across the nation to be provided with similar support. He emphasized that J-Care foundation was going to extend their love and support to all Ghanaian kids who needed help to grow in happiness and mentioned that the foundation recently made a similar presentation at the Children’s ward of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
