Iranians open 10-day books exhibition in Kumasi

Kumasi, Dec. 15, GNA - The Cultural Department of the Iranian Embassy in Accra has opened a 10-day books exhibition on the Islamic nation's culture in Kumasi.

"Shared Religious Foundations of Islam and Christianity," "Imamate and Leadership," "Youth and Moral," "Reunion with the Beloved," "Tourism Prospect of Hamedan Province," "Islamic Medical Wisdom," "Contemporary Iranian Art" and "Islamic World" are among the books on display. Mr Ishau Mohammed, who is coordinating the event, said it was meant to strengthen cultural cooperation between Ghana and the Islamic Republic. He said he was confident that the book fair would also help more Ghanaians to appreciate religious facts.

He encouraged the people to read more about Iran to have a better understanding of the country and what it stood for. The exhibition, which began on Monday, December 14, ends on Thursday December 24. 15 Dec. 09
