Inculcate communal labour in the people-Nkoramza South PM

Mr. Paul Opoku-Nsowah, Presiding Member (PM), Nkoranza South District Assembly, has urged members of Urban, Zonal and Area councils to inculcate the spirit of communal labour in the people to initiate ‘self-help’ development projects.

He explained, this would earn them support from the Government and non-governmental organisations.

Inaugurating the membership of Nkoranza Urban Council at Nkoranza over the weekend, Mr Opoku-Nsowah emphasised the need for the members to eschew partisan politics and work as a team to improve the living conditions of the people.

"Members should educate the people to honour their tax obligations to enable the Assembly to generate more revenue to develop the District," he said.

The PM emphasized the need for the members to encourage their people to ensure their surroundings are kept clean to enhance environmental sanitation and to avoid the outbreak of communicable diseases.

Representatives on the Council were drawn from all the nine electoral areas including Nkoranzafie, Sessiman, Nkoranza New Town, Kassardjan, Kransieso-Zongo, Asuosuo-Mpem and Kokofu-Koase.
