The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency, Dr Kingsley Agyemang, has marked his birthday with a deeply personal gesture of gratitude — returning to the hospital where he was born prematurely and giving back to the schools and communities that helped shape his life journey.
Dr Agyemang began the day at the Kyebi Government Hospital, the very facility where he entered the world as a pre-term baby.
In an emotional moment, which he shared via Facebook, he visited the pre-term ward to express his appreciation to the staff and to reflect on his early fight for survival.
As part of his gesture, he settled the medical bills of all in-patients, bringing relief to families and reaffirming his commitment to compassionate service.
"He began the day at the Kyebi Government Hospital where he was born prematurely, settling the bills of all in-patients and spending time at the pre-term ward in a touching moment of gratitude and humility," his Facebook post stated.
Leaving Kyebi, Dr Agyemang continued his outreach at Jecol International School at Bunso, where he donated books and other learning materials to support literacy among pupils.
He then travelled to the Asafo Community Farm, where he shared lunch with farmers from Asafo, Akooko, Amanfrom, Odumase and Apedwa communities, with which he maintains a longstanding connection.
The birthday outreach also took him to the Asiakwa Presby Basic School, where his formal education began four decades ago.
In a nostalgic homecoming, he cut a birthday cake with pupils and staff, celebrating not just his life but the humble beginnings that helped shape it.

For Dr Kingsley Agyemang, the day was “a birthday well spent,” rooted in gratitude, marked by service and dedicated to uplifting others.
