Hohoe upbeat about the chances of Black Stars

Hohoe, June 22, GNA - Soccer enthusiasts at Hohoe are upbeat about the chances of the Black Stars, the senior national team in their last group E match against the United States (US), which commences at 1400 hours today.

The fans, already clad in the national colours and paraphernalia with decorations on their bicycles, motorbikes, cars and buses wee optimistic that the only Black Stars in the consternation of Africa would fly high by the close of hostilities.

Most people Ghana News Agency Sports spoke to predicted a repeat of the 2-0 score-line recorded against Czech Republic in the encounter with the USA, while a few others forecasted a 2-1 margin for the Stars. They however called for the prayers and fullest support of all Ghanaians and Africans to enable the team to glitter and surmount the US hurdle.
