Management and staff of Groupe Ideal, a leading and fast-growing institution with over 13 subsidiaries in Ghana shared their Valentine’s joy with the children of Osudoku Global Orphanage and the Child Protection Centre.

Valentine's Day is a day set aside to show appreciation to the people we love; while some take their loved ones on romantic dinner dates, others propose marriage, send cards, chocolate, flowers, and jewellery. The staff of Groupe Ideal, however, celebrated the day in the most spectacular way.

It was all joy for the children of the Osudoku Orphanage at Akuse and the Child Protection Center in Ashaiman when over 100 employees of Groupe Ideal visited the homes to share their love on Valentine’s Day and to spend time with them.

The team was made up of staff of TV Africa, Ideal Finance, Ideal Trade, FirsTrust Savings and Loans, Ideal Pensions Trust, Ideal Capital Partners, Ideal Insurance Brokers, Ideal Asset Solutions, Westfield Offshore, Cool Mineral Water and Force 64; all subsidiaries of Groupe Ideal. They donated cash, assorted food items, toiletries, clothes, bags and toys to the various institutions and the people they serve.

Speaking on the donation, Mrs. Selassie Dzani ,the Executive Director of Ideal trade who led the delegation, said “As February 14 is celebrated across the country with many people exchanging cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special Valentine, we at Groupe Ideal are committed to giving back to the society specifically to aid the less privileged. We are more than glad to share in our love with these children on this Val’s Day. For us, it is also a privilege to encourage and interact with these children to learn more about them, know their needs, identify their strengths and weaknesses to know what possible to give them periodically.”

It was a fun day as employees interacted with the children and ensured everyone was thoroughly entertained. There was a lot to eat, drink and music to dance to.

The guardians of the homes Francis Adzraku of Don Bosco Child Centre and David Hanson of Osudoku Global Orphanage expressed profound joy saying: “We cannot express our joy enough. We are so thankful to Groupe Ideal for this kind gesture.

The employee interaction forms part of Groupe Ideal’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to aid the underprivileged children.

Groupe Ideal is committed to assisting the needy in times like this. We will continue to show our profound love all year round.
