Government to provide more social amenities in Twifo-Heman

Twifo Praso(CR), April 28, GNA - Government would rehabilitate an additional 15 kilometres of road in Twifo-Heman Lower Denkyira District this year.

The beneficiary towns are Heman, Mampong, Morkwa, Nyenase, Kayireku, Ntafrewaso, Wawase, Frami and Jukwa-Krobo. Mr Samuel Agyeibie-Kessie, Twifo-Heman Lower Denkyira District Chief Executive announced this when addressing the assembly at Twifo-Praso.

He said Twifo-Praso township would benefit from Phase II of the rehabilitation of town roads and access roads to Twifo-Praso Senior High School the new site and district education directorate. On electrification, Mr Agyeibie-Kessie said 28 communities in the district would be connected to the National Grid before the end of the year.

He said Nuamakrom, Afosua and Bemponagya communities would be connected under the Self Help Electrification Project (SHEP) and a "Special Electrification Package" for Twifo Number One, Achiase, Kenkuase, Ntiamoakrom and Atwerboanda
