The eight-member team is led by Professor Josephine Ahitire, Executive Secretary of the Uganda African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).

Mr Mensah also commended the Gomoa West District Assembly for funding the Committee, adding that people in the area have taken the activities of the APRM very serious.

The DCE said the Assembly will continue to fund the Committee, to enable it achieve its aims and objectives.

This is the third time the team from Uganda has visited the district.

The DCE suggested a return visit to Uganda by the Gomoa West Committee.
