Golkal Pharmacy donates to St Michael hospital at Pramso

Pramso (Ash), Sept. 16, GNA - Golkal Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical and veterinary drug dispensing company with its headquarters in Accra, has donated 800 boxes of Ciplox D eye and ear drops to the St Michael Hospital at Pramso in the Bosomtwe District. The drugs, which cost 3,160 Ghana cedis, were to help the hospital to embark upon a free ear and eye screening exercise in communities in the hospital's catchments area.

Making the presentation Mr Richard Badu Kwabena Asiedu, Golkal's Manager in-charge of the Ashanti Region, said the presentation was in response to a request make to them by the hospital to enhance quality health care delivery in the district. He commended Mr Lal-Gokvas, Director of the company, for making the items available.

Mr Kwame Amoateng, Administrator of the Hospital who received the drugs, thanked them for the gesture which he said would enhance their activities at the time when they are celebrating their 50th anniversary. He appealed to individuals, philanthropist, non-governmental organisations and others to assist the hospital to enhance quality health care delivery for all.
