Ghanaians urged to do away with negative things attitudes

Kumasi, Dec. 25, GNA - Ghanaians have been urged to change their negative attitudes and do away with things that will portray bad image for the nation.

They should desist from indulging in drug trafficking, corruption and ethnicity, which were gradually eroding the significant strides the nation had made in the democratic governance, economic and sporting arena. The Reverend David Yalley, Minister in-charge of the Emmanuel Methodist Church at Ahensan in Kumasi, who made the call, said Ghana was currently enjoying favourable international goodwill and there was the need for all to contribute to sustain those achievements. He was delivering the sermon to mark the Christmas celebrations of the church at Atonsu on Monday.

Reverend Yalley advised Ghanaians to stay away from "darkness and come into the light of Christ by renewing their spirit with God." They should also pray for God's blessing for the nation and continue to work hard to redeem the nation from its present economic difficulties. 25 Dec. 06
