Gambila can win Nabdam seat for NPP

Pelungu (U/E), Feb. 12, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) can easily win the Nabdam seat in the newly created Talensi-Nabdam District, if Mr Boniface Gambila, Director of the National Service Scheme, contest the seat in the forthcoming parliamentary elections. The Upper East Regional Organiser of the NPP, Mr Mahamoud Mahama, said

this when he was addressing party supporters in the constituency at Pelungu near Bolgatanga.

He said Mr Gambila had contributed to the development of the area adding that he donated cement for the rehabilitation of some schools. The Regional Organiser urged the people to vote massively for President Kufuor and the NPP in the forthcoming elections to ensure the continuation of projects initiated by government in the district.

The National Service Director commended the government for providing schools, clinics and roads in the area during its three years in office.

Mr Gambila assured the people that if elected to parliament he would ensure that electricity, potable water and dams were provided to facilitate economic activities.

He urged the people to undertake commercial farming, and said he had procured a tractor, which was currently in Accra to help the farmers plough the land for farming.
