GNPC Foundation secures scholarship package for fishing community students

GNPC Foundation has secured a scholarship package with Lovely Professional University (LPU) in India for Ghanaian fishing and Rural Community students.

The Executive Director, Mr. Dominic Eduah who was on a trip with Mr Johnson Ben Oduro, a Board Member of GNPC Foundation, signed the deal with the School.

This package ensures a 50% discount in fees of every Ghanaian that enrolls in the University through the Foundation in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is the largest University in India with one of the best Educational Infrastructures in the world.

The school, situated on a 600acre land, has the State of the Art facilities to rival the best Universities in the world and this package comes as a boost for those pursuing courses in the area of STEM.

After the ceremony with the Vice Chancellor of the University, the GNPC Foundation delegation met with the Ghanaian Student Union in the school to discuss their experiences since enrolling in the School.

The President of the Union testified about the school having the best facilities in the world and spoke fondly of the time they've spent there so far.

Mr. Dominic Eduah thanked the University for the support and therefore called on the Ghanaian students to learn hard.
