Floods: Ato Forson consoles bereaved family with plush 2-bedroom house

The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam constituency, Hon. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson has gifted a two-bedroom house to a family that was displaced by the recent flood disaster in the Central Region.

MyNewsGh.com Central Regional Correspondent Asana Gordon who has been following the development, disclosed that the lawmaker has started the construction of the two-bedroom house at Etsii Fawomanye for the beneficiary family after their structure recently collapsed on them.

A building which was already in a precarious state came crashing down during the torrential rain last Tuesday accompanied by strong winds killing a couple instantly while six others are said to be in critical condition and receiving treatment at Interbeton Hospital.

Hon Ato Forson who visited the family of victims on Thursday to console them over the demise of the couple, promising to build the ultra-modern two-bedroom house for their dependents, which he has started.

The lawmaker also proceeded to the Cape Coast Interbeton Hospital to visit the survivors and donated GH¢5000 to cater for their hospital bills
