Flooding at Asankran Oda-Breman road in Western region

Roads leading to the community have been flooded following the rains Roads leading to the community have been flooded following the rains

Over the past years, the people of Asankran-Oda have been complaining about poor road that links the community to the district capital, Asankrangwa and other nearby communities. But their incessant cry for help have not been given much attention because issues of politics get into it.

Inundation has taken place from a small river by name "Kundinsin". It is indeed pathetic as the people are left to their fate. This has contributed to dwindling of economic activities since cars cannot pass through the stream.

People who decide to walk through do so at their own risk since they can be carried away by the river.

The residents are therefore calling on the current government to come and salvage them from their woes.

The flooding occurred on 12th June 2017, Monday midnight.
