First and second year students of Adisadel College to reopen on April 14

Cape Coast, April 10, GNA - The Headmaster of Adisadel College, Mr Herbert Graham on Wednesday announced that the college would reopen on April 14 for the first and second year student to begin the third term. Mr Graham who made the announcement in a press released issued in Cape Coast said all Senior High School one (SHS) and two students and their parent are to report to the school on Monday April 14, 2008. He said all the students will sign a bond witnessed by their parents or guardians to be of good behaviour for the rest of their stay in the school and that they are also to bring their full fees for the term. He said there would be a general Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meeting for all parents of SHS 1 and 2 at 11.00 am on Monday April 14, 2008.

Mr Graham said parents of the Senior Secondary School(SSS)three students who failed to report with their wards to sign bonds and to pay the third term fees were notified that their wards were not re-admitted into the school to write the mock examination and they were therefore not in the care of the school authorities. It would be recalled that the college had to be closed down on March 17, 2008, following disturbance by students as a result of the death of a third year science student Master Abdul Gafaru Abdul Rahman who fell to his death on March 16, this year.
