The show was so great that Some Germans could be heard singing Ghanaian high life and hip life tunes. People danced to songs and displayed their Azonto and Alkayeeda dance moves with joy. The crowd this year on our float was overwhelming and we can proudly say it was a success for Ghana Fatima disclosed.

Displaying Ghanaian culture and music is undoubtedly promoting tourism, and is yielding results. Our next agenda is coming home to join Ghana Tourism Board and our colleague’s to make the Ghanaian carnival a colorful one.

She applauded Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare (Tourism Minister) and the Deputy Minister of Tourism for their relentless efforts in various ways in promoting Ghana to the outside world. The late O. Lamptey (RIP) did so much for the carnival in Berlin and must be applauded as well she stated.

In an interview with RBB on why the subject matter of this year’s carnival is (Ghana for Peace) she had this to say:

“We are calling for peaceful elections. Politics is very critical and if managed properly, should not lead to the loss of any human lives or injury. Let’s make Ghana a safe place to be and be recognized as the number one Country recognized for Peace. Maintaining peace in Ghana is an important issue and must not be taken for granted”

She dedicated this year’s carnival to Ghanaians. Ghana has an image in the world when it comes to democracy and peace she concluded.
