Akim Osino (E/R), Oct. 27, GNA - The Assembly Member of Osino in the Fanteakwa District, Mr Jonathan Rexford Doku-Akompeh has asked the people to reciprocate the efforts by the Assembly to provide them development projects by honouring their tax obligations regularly. He enumerated the projects including school blocks for four primary schools, the town hall and three places of convenience.

Mr Doku-Akompeh was speaking at a public forum at Akim Osino on Sunday, during which the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo launched his campaign to solicit the support of the electorate in his bid to re-capture the seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Ofosu-Ampofo, who is also the National Organiser of the Party, recounted the efforts he had made towards the development of the area, citing the provision of building materials, donation of computers to schools and financial support for needy but brilliant students. He asked the people not to be swayed by sugarcoated promises by some politicians but should assess their living conditions critically before exercising their franchise on polling day.

The Osinohene, Osabarima Osampanin II, asked political activists in the town to conduct their electioneering peacefully by tolerating the views of their opponents to ensure peaceful elections. 27 Oct. 04
