The Chief Executive Officer of M.Y Ventures, Dr Caesar has said his company shares in the vision of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to ensure quality education in the country.

To this end, he said, M.Y Ventures would continue to lend support to Asantehene in bringing hope and happiness into the lives of people.

Dr Caesar made the remark in an interaction with newsmen during the second Otumfuo Teachers’ Awards ceremony held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

Hundred teachers and 10 regional education directors drawn from the 10 regions were awarded for their meritorious service to the nation.

He said since the Asantehene ascended the Golden Stool over a decade ago, he has demonstrated practically that he has the welfare of the people at heart.

“Infrastructural development such as classroom blocks, libraries, science and computer laboratories coupled with well motivated teachers human resource, are essential components of quality education delivery, and this, the 16th occupant of the Golden Stool keeps on scoring high marks not only in his Ashanti Kingdom, but in the country at large, “he said.

Dr Caesar observed that one significant aspect of the teacher-motivational scheme is the transparency and personal attention Otumfuo Osei Tutu attaches to the whole process, making sure that the right people enjoyed the fruits of their labour.

He said with more collaborative efforts from sponsoring agents, the Asantehene’s dynamic leadership would benefit more people and that his company, a primary healthcare provider, which deals in food supplements, would continue with its pioneering role of sponsoring and supporting all meaningful programmes initiated by the “great Asante King”.

Dr Caesar expressed optimism that with more collaborative efforts from sponsoring agents and the Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s dynamic leadership, the number of beneficiaries of the award scheme would increase in few years to come.**
