The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency in the Western region, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has presented two pick-up vehicles to the Ellembelle District Assembly and the Ellembelle District Police Command.
In addition to this, he also presented four motorbikes to the Ellembelle District Assembly.
This kind gesture aims to empower and strengthen various public institutions in the Ellembelle district.
Addressing chiefs, staff of the Ellembelle district assembly, police officers, and residents of Ellembelle district at Nzema Aiyinasi over the weekend, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah thanked the Ghana National Gas Company for assisting the Ellembelle district with one million Ghana cedis.

He said that over 300 brilliant but needy tertiary students also benefited from the one million Ghana cedis support from the Ghana National Gas Company situated in the Ellembelle district.
He said the time has come for the Ghana Police Service in the Ellembelle district to be empowered and strengthened.
"We have gathered here today not only to empower our people in the educational sector but to strengthen all other institutions in our district so that governance can work, and Awulae, I'm very excited because the police service in the last 18 years has received three pick-up vehicles and all came from Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah", he stated.
"In fact, I'm very excited that today I'm also coming to donate a brand new pick-up vehicle to the Ghana Police Service in Ellembelle district. I believe that if we are going to have development in our district, then the fundamental key to development is peace and stability", he added.
Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who is also Ghana's Lands and Natural Resources Minister, emphasised that his focus was on empowering the good people of Ellembelle district, transforming communities in the area, and also building strong institutions.
He urged the good people of Ellembelle to come together as one people to develop the area.

"Everything we are going to do in the next three years is to empower our people, transforming our communities and building strong institutions, so we need collective support. Whenever we want to help, we do not look at political colors, we must see ourselves as one people", he said.
He, therefore, took the opportunity to call on the chiefs of the Ellembelle district to unite.
Armah-Kofi Buah, who played a major role in the establishment of the Ghana National Gas Company, commended the late President John Evans Atta Mills and President John Dramani Mahama for putting up the gas processing plant in the Ellembelle district.
He disclosed that he was working with the Ghana National Gas Company to support the district in getting gas-related factories in order to employ the unemployed youth in the area.

He also disclosed that President John Dramani Mahama was committed to reconstructing the Sthe amenye barrier to the Half Assini bad road.
He appealed to the good people of Ellembelle and Nzemaland to rally behind President John Mahama and the NDC government.
On his part, Ellembelle District Chief Executive (DCE), Joseph Agyekum, thanked Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah for his continued suppfor the Ellembelle district and pledged to work closely with Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah to develop the district.
The beneficiary institutions expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah for the kind gesture and promised to make good use of it.
