Ehwiaa Wood Products supports Wioso community

Mankranso (Ash), April 14, GNA - The Ehwiaa Wood Products Limited, has presented a cheque for 31 million cedis to the chief people of Wioso, near Mankranso, in the Ahafo-Ano South District in support of their development projects.

Presenting the cheque at Mankranso, Mr Isaac Buabeng, Administrative Manager of the company said it was the company's social responsibility to support communities within its operational areas. He commended the people for their co-operation with the company, which had enabled it to operate in a peaceful atmosphere. Nana Fosu Dapaah, a sub-chief of Wioso, who received the cheque on behalf of the community, thanked the company for the gesture and gave the assurance that the money would be judiciously used to improve the living conditions of the people.
