Effutu Municipal re-elects Afenyo Markin as Presiding Member

Winneba, Nov 15, GNA - The Effutu Municipal Assembly on Friday re-elected Mr. Alexander Afenyo Markin as the Presiding Member of the Assembly for another two years' term. All the 23 assembly members present voted for Mr. Markin who was the sole candidate. Mr. Markin thanked the members and promised that he would continue to cooperate with members and the Municipal Chief Executive towards the socio economic development of the municipality. He appealed to the assembly to ensure that there is peace during and after the elections. Mr. Robert Andrew Ekow Ghunney, Municipal Chief Executive expressed his appreciation to the members for the re-election of Mr. Markin.
