A driver believed to be in his early 40s has met his untimely death after being run over by a low-bed truck at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, identified only as "Allegation," reportedly died after the truck ran over him, mutilating parts of his body.

The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Speaking to OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, an eyewitness said the deceased was directing the truck to park properly when, unfortunately, he was run over by the same vehicle.

Police from the Ejisu Police Command have since taken over the scene and launched an investigation into the matter.

The accident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many residents mourning the deceased.
