Dery commends public servants

Wa, July 18, GNA - Mr Ambrose Dery, Upper West Regional Minister on Monday commended public servants in the region for the positive improvement in their attitude towards time and attendance at meetings and public functions.

The Regional Minister made this acknowledgement, when he inaugurated a 15- member Regional Planning Committee of Ghana's golden jubilee celebration of independence. Before 10:00hours, when the meeting was due to start, all the committee members were already seated, waiting for the arrival of the minister.

The minister, who is also the chairman of the committee, noted with a smile at the end of his inaugural address that, the change in attitude towards time management, which he had sought to bear on public servants in the region, was now being adhered to by public sector workers. He hoped this would be sustained in the interest of increased productivity and the nation at large. 18 July 06
