Deputy Minister appeals to workers to work in unity

Sunyani, Aug. 13, GNA - Mr Yaw Adjei-Duffour, Deputy Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, has appealed to workers in the region to forge ahead in unity and work harder to accelerate its development.

He was speaking at a farewell party organised by the Board of Governors and Parent-Teacher Association of the Twene Amanfo Secondary/Technical School at Sunyani in honour of Mr Jarvis R. Agyemang-Badu, Headmaster of the school.

Mr Agyemang-Badu has been appointed as the new Nkoranza District Director of Education.

The Deputy Regional Minister commended Mr Agyemang-Badu for his hard work and efforts in elevating the standard of education in the school to the point of running vocational and technical programmes. He appealed to Mr Agyemang-Badu to continue with his hard work to help improve the standard of education in the Nkoranza District. Mr Agyemang-Badu expressed gratitude to the staff and students of the school for their co-operation during his six years service.
