Coronavirus: Bole-Bamboi MP makes 3rd donation to constituents

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Alhaji Yussif Sulemana has fir the third time donated some items to the Bole Health Directorate for onward distribution to some health facilities, organisations and individuals in the Constituency.

The items worth GHc 35,500 include, Veronica Buckets, Hand senitizers, Examination Gloves, Dustbins, Face masks among others.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM after handing ove the items to the Bole District Health Directorate today 19th May, 2020, the MP said the fight against COVID-19 is a shared responsibility hence the need for everyone to come on board. He said he has been working with the Bole District Health Directorate to contain the COVID-19 and thanked God the Bole District has not recorded a single case so far.

He added that he is working closely with all stakeholders on the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

He disclosed to Nkilgi fm that, this is his third time he is donating to his constituents since Ghana recorded it first case in March 2020.

Alhaji Yisif Sulemana said he will be distributing over 6,000 nose marks to people who cannot afford to buy them.

He further said he has contracted the Tailors and Dressmakers Association in the Bole district to produce 6,000 nose marks locally for the district.

He appealed to all to obey all the health protocols to avoid contracting the COVID-19.

The Bole District Director of Health Service Mr David Bakuri who received the items on behalf of the good people of the district thanked the MP for the kind gesture and his swift response to the need of his people. He promised they will put the items in to good use.

Mr Bakuri added that the District has formed an emergency fundraising team on the COVID-19 and entreated individuals and institutions to donate.
