Some zonal chairmen of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ellembelle constituency of the Western region are accusing Party chairman Samuel Akenyah, Youth organiser Mr Attitoe and disappointed District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for the area of deceit.

This was at a backdrop of a press conference organised on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Nkroful to throw their weight behind the re-nomination of Mr. Stephen Donkor.

According to the aggrieved members who spoke to Empire News, during the Press conference, the youth organizer of the party Mr. Atitoe had told them the press conference was in support of Mr Kwasi Bonzoh but that turned out to be false only to realize the latter was in support of Stephen Donkor.

Vice-Chairman of the Ellembelle Constituency, Sani Mohammed and other Zonal executives told Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan the behaviour of Mr. Atitoe is ill to the party’s health.

Sani Mohammed had earlier accused the party chairman of leading some thugs to destroy the 2016 billboards of Kwasi Bonzoh and that of President Akufo-Addo. Meanwhile, some members in the constituency are calling on the President to re-nominate Mr Stephen Donkor as DCE for Ellembelle District.

According to assembly member for Nkroful electoral area, Lord Cudjoe through NPP’s 8years, Aiyinasi and Esiama had their turn and when the NDC was elected in power in 2009, they nominated an indigene from the coastal belt which worked.
