Computers For Police

The Dominion Life Foundation, non-Governmental Organization based in the United Kingdom (UK) and Ghana, has donated three computers and accessories worth ?6million to the Western Regional Police Command at a ceremony here.

The presentation was on a request from the Command to the general public. Making the presentation, Rev. Noel Asante-Mensah said, though the government has the responsibility of equipping the police force, there was the need for other stakeholders and organizations to supplement its effort in raising the status of the police service in general.

Receiving the computers, Mr. Ofosu Mensah Gyeabour, Western Regional Assistant Commissioner of Police, thanked the organization for its support and hope others would emulate its example.
