Come to my office for clarification on issues-Abam-Quaye

Winneba, Sept 11, GNA - Mr Solomon Abam-Quaye, the District Chief Executive of the Awutu-Effutu-Senya, on Friday appealed to the people, including assembly members in the area, to come to his office for clarification on issue.

He said the practice of channeling issues through the media was not the best.

"I do not think this is the best because since I took over I have adopted an open concept approach for all my dealings. My doors are always open."

Mr Abam-Quaye made the appeal in his address at the last sitting of the Awutu-Effutu-Senya District Assembly at Winneba.

He said using other means to address issues "will be tantamount to washing our dirty linen in public" and that would not arguer well for the overall advancement and progress of the district. Mr Abam-Quaye urged the people to come personally to his office whenever they are not pleased with any issues or needed some clarification and that the mass media cannot solve their problems for them.

The presiding member of the assembly, Mr Kwesi Esserku, commended the assembly members for their hard work and dedication to duty that had led the district to see some development projects.
