Cocoa beans destroyed in accident.

Enchi (W/R), March 4, GNA - About 610 bags of dried cocoa were destroyed when the articulated truck carrying the cocoa involved in an accident at a spot about one kilometre from Enchi on its way to the Takoradi port.

The truck was climbing a hill when it veered into the bush and somersaulted many time before landing on its side. The dried cocoa beans, which were loaded from the depots of the Kuapa Cocoa Buying Company at Dadieso, were scattered on the road and in the bush, however, Mr. Abukari Red, the driver and his mate Asoma Adams escaped unhurt.
