Chiefs of Ahyiayem in B/A to construct school block

Ahyiayem (B/A), Aug. 17, GNA - The chiefs and people of Ahyiayem in the Nkoranza South district of the Brong Ahafo Region are mobilizing resources

to construct a three unit classroom block for the local Junior High School. Madam Mary Alamisi, Assembly Member told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Ahyiayem that school children in the area each day make the journey of

five kilometres to attend school at Bredi Number One. She said the first year students of the JHS are currently attending classes in a temporary structure and so the need for the permanent block to accommodate

the whole stream. The Assembly Member said the community would hold regular fund raising rallies to generate enough funds to complete the project. Mr Kwasi Amisare, Unit Committee chairman, called on the people to support the assembly for the early completion of the school block. He appealed to non-resident citizens to contribute towards the on-going development projects in the area.
