Crusaders of Change Ghana has embarked on an ambitious transformation project aimed at giving the Abeka Junction traffic lights and its surroundings a modern, beautiful and environmentally friendly facelift.
According to the group, the ongoing exercise is part of its broader commitment to building clean, green and sustainable cities across Ghana.
The team has already begun work at the site, focusing on improving sanitation and restoring the natural environment.
The activities carried out so far include, weeding the median and surrounding spaces, sweeping and clearing plastic waste and refuse, removing dust deposits along the pavements and planting trees to enhance the outlook of the area.
The organisation believes these simple but intentional steps are crucial to creating the kind of transformation Ghanaians wish to see in their communities.
Speaking on the initiative, the group’s leader, Owusu Appiah, stressed that national transformation does not happen by chance or magic but through deliberate action and collective responsibility.
“We must intentionally work to bring the needed transformation. The Ghana we want will be built by us,” he said.
Crusaders of Change Ghana has also shared inspiring photos of modern street designs which represent their long-term vision for Abeka Junction.
The concept images showcase greener, cleaner and more orderly public spaces reflecting what the group hopes the area will eventually become.
They are confident that with continued dedication, collaboration and support from the community, their goals will be achieved.
