Catholic women's group sets up day-care centre

Nkoranza (B/A), Sept. 29, GNA- The Women's Association of the Roman Catholic Parish in Nkoranza has established a day-care centre for children between six months and three years.

Madam Alice Effah-Mensah, district secretary of the association, told the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza on Monday that it was the association's aim to help mould the children to become responsible and disciplined citizens.

She said the association has constructed a five-room block accommodation, fitted with sanitary facilities for the centre. Madam Effah-Mensah said the centre would offer three years education after which the children could proceed to formal education at the kindergarten.
