Cape coast hosts NGO’s

On Saturday December 14, 2013, Cape Coast will play host to the first regional NGOs partnership Night /Ball.
The event has been put together by ORPED Ghana in partnership with the ANOPA Project, PLAY SOCCER Ghana, Daily Guide, Cape Fm, the Social Welfare, and the Samrit Hotel.
At the all new Samrit Hotel at 7pm, all NGOs in the Central region will converge to celebrate their work and build partnerships that will enhance their community interventions in Education, Food security, WASH, Health, Governance, Sports for Development and social accountability.
The Central Regional NGOs Fraternity Night is an initiative of ORPED Ghana and part of the broader Ghana NGOs Appreciation Project.
Abdul Wahab Musah, Country Director of PLAY SOCCER Ghana who is one of the hosts of the event in Cape Coast, said, everything is ready to treat everybody to a good night of music, speeches, videos of initiatives and projects undertaken in 2013, and share best practices.
He is confident the Central Region edition will set the tone for the national event.
At the same event the first Ghana NGO Awards will be launched.
It is expected that over 50 NGOs, CBOs, strategic service providers, academicians, students, and community leaders will grace the occasion.
