On September 10, 2025, the Centre for Urban Rural Empowerment and Development (CURED) remained true to its mission by providing financial support to the Help Groom Leaders Foundation School in the Eastern Region (Akuapem Aseseeso) community.
Team members presented 1,200 Ghana Cedis to Mrs. Vida Nana, the founder of the organization and school.
The funds will be used to assist in supplying the schoolchildren with their monthly meals.
Meanwhile, CURED visited Kokrobite DA School in Accra, Ghana.
The Kokrobite DA School has been a long-time recipient and adopted school of CURED.
CURED also provided the school with 1,200 Ghana Cedis to support lunches for the schoolchildren. The funds were presented to the principal, Madam Nancy, who is in charge of the teaching staff. CURED extends its gratitude to U.S. sponsors Ms. Vanessa Irvin and Ms. Elma Irvin of Long Island, New York, for their support.
One of the team members said, “As we continue our mission to support the Ghanaian community, we want to thank and recognize all individuals who contribute to and support our cause.”
Representatives of the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude to CURED for the gesture.
