COVID19: Gbi citizens abroad donate to Hohoe Municipal Hospital

Citizens from Gbi-Dzigbe (Hohoe) residing abroad have donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital against the novel coronavirus disease.

The group, christened "Gbi-Dzigbeviwo Abroad" donated ten packs of N95 nose masks, 45 packs of surgical gloves, 45 packs of examination gloves and 22 packs of disposal coveralls at an estimated cost of GHc15,000.00

Togbe Awalie III and Madam Innocentia Gidi on behalf of the group presented the items and said it was their support to the Hospital to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Togbe Awalie who commended the Hospital for efforts in curbing the spread of the disease called on the management to make the best use of the items, adding that the group would offer more support when the need arose.

Madam Rita Botsoe, the Acting Nurse Manager of the Hospital who received the items on behalf of the management of the Hospital expressed gratitude to the group for the support.

She said the donation was timely and would be put to good use.
