Busunya Secondary School gets new Board

Busunya (BA), April 17, GNA - Mrs Akua Akubour Debrah, Brong Ahafo Regional Director of Education, has inaugurated a 13-member re-constituted Board of Governors for Busunya Secondary School in the Nkoranza District with a call on members to liase with the Nkoranza District Education Oversight Committee.

She advised the Board to support and encourage the staff of the school in the performance of their duties and facilitate environmental cleanliness.

Mrs Debrah said it was the responsibility of the Board to promote discipline among the staff and students; hence the need for them to live above reproach and to command respect. The Regional Director called on the students to be law abiding and to respect their teachers.

The Headmaster, Mr Abubakari Ankoma listed lack of teachers, staff bungalows, a science laboratory, students hostel as some of the major challenges facing the school.

Mr Musah Donkor, outgoing Chairman of the Board called on the in-coming members to be united and offer the necessary services towards the development of the school.
