Businesswoman installed Mbabawaahemaa of Akim Asuboa

Akim Asuboa (E/R), Dec. 14, GNA – Mrs Abena Osei-Debrah, 40, a businesswoman has been installed Mbabawaahemaa of Akim Asuboa near Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.

Her stool name is Nana Osei-Debrah.

Swearing the Oath of Allegiance at a colourful durbar of the chiefs and people of Akim Asuboa, Nana Osei-Debrah promised to continue with a scholarship scheme she promised to schools in the town.

She pledged to facilitate the building of a school library for the town, and invite investors to establish businesses to create employment for the youth in the area.

Nana Osei-Debrah called on the citizenry to unite to help improve on educational standards in the town.

Last year, 18 pupils of Presbyterian Primary School at Akim Asuboa received school bags and uniforms for their brilliant academic performance.
