Business and Financial Times donates to children

Accra, Dec. 21, GNA - The Management of Business and Financial Times (BFT) on Tuesday presented assorted food items to the Peace and Love Orphanage in Accra and the Children's Block of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The items sourced from companies the newspaper offered free advertisement to included Bournvita, Fan Milk products, loaves of bread, toffees, rice and assorted chocolates products.

Presenting the items Mrs Edith Dankwa, General Manager of BFT, said the gesture was an expression of love and formed part of their contribution towards an enjoyable Christmas for the kids. Mrs Dankwa expressed the hope that other companies would make deprived children happy, especially during the Yuletide. Ms Grace Omaboe, Founder of Peace and Love Orphanage, thanked the newspaper saying, " this will surely help organise a fantastic Christmas party for the kids".

She called on philanthropists and organisations to come to the aid of the about 470 children in the orphanage. Mrs Joyce Oppong-Ayisi, Principal Nursing Officer, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, received the items meant for the hospital.
