The campaign team of Dr Bryan Acheampong, a flagbearer hopeful for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has vehemently dismissed recent allegations from a group of NPP youth organizers in the Ashanti Region. The youth had accused Dr Bryan Acheampong of anti-party behavior during his regional tour and labeled his messages as "lies," while simultaneously endorsing Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Addressing the media, Eric Amoako Twum, the campaign spokesperson for Dr Bryan Acheampong, not only robustly defended the candidate's recent engagements in the Ashanti Region but also presented what he described as a clear vision for the party and the nation. Twum rubbished the allegations by the NPP youth as "a message without credibility" and "propaganda."

He asserted that the pronouncements from the youth organizers warranted "contempt" due to a complete lack of factual basis, highlighting several irregularities.

"This looks most bizarre, if not ridiculous. The inclusion of an individual who had been dead for like six or seven months prior as an endorser of the youth organizers’ statements".

He further claimed this supposed endorsement featured the deceased person 'writing, signing, and writing with a phone number.' "I saw it and I was astounded. I was like, Wow, how is that possible?". Twum remarked, expressing his shock.

Eric Amoako Twum firmly stated, "We will treat it with contempt because it's very clear that these are a desperate bunch who are interested in just doing propaganda."

He emphasized the campaign's resolve not to descend into casting aspersions, insulting people, and doing all other negative things, but choosing instead to maintain a focus on their core message.

He then outlined the successful impact of Dr Bryan Acheampong's Ashanti Region tour, contrary to the youth organizers' claims. Twum detailed the campaign's commitment to grassroots empowerment, fostering unity and discipline within the party.

He further articulated Dr Acheampong's broader vision for the country, encompassing key areas such as "security, national security, infrastructure development, food security, and the like," alongside specific plans tailored for the nation's young people.

Eric Amoako Twum asserted that the campaign's authentic and rapid rise in influence signifies unprecedented nationwide momentum.

"In my experience, there has not been a single flagbearer aspirant who, in a space of three or four months, has been able to percolate and permeate the entire country, with everyone talking about it," he stated, underlining that Dr Acheampong "is a force to be reckoned with."

He concluded with a confident prediction for the upcoming January 31, 2026, primary election, stating that Dr. Bryan Acheampong "will make everyone curious, suggesting a decisive performance and victory.
