Bosomtwe Rural Bank donates to school

Kumasi, July 12, GNA - The Bosomtwe Rural Bank with its headquarters at Kuntanase, has donated building materials worth five million cedis to the Kyirapatre Basic School in Kumasi. The materials were for the rehabilitation of the block, which had part of its roof ripped off during a rainstorm recently. Mr J.B.K. Manu, Human Resource and Administrative Manager of the bank, said the donation was the bank's social responsibility to the people in its catchment area. He urged the people to save with the bank to enable the bank support them in their economic endeavours so as to raise their standard of living. Mr J.A.K. Dadieh, Chairman of the Atonsu branch of the bank, announced that the bank had this year given scholarship to six senior secondary school students to pursue their academic careers and hoped to increase the number next year. Mr Robert Asante, Head teacher of the school, who received the items, thanked the bank for the gesture.
