Bole DCE visits Churches

Bole (N/R), Dec. 26, GNA - The Bole District Chief Executive, Madam Elizabeth Salamatu Forgor, on Sunday visited a number of Churches at Bole to mark Christmas.

At the Pentecost, Assemblies of God and the Catholic Churches, the DCE urged Christians to learn to forgive, re-examine their lives and to share what they have with others, which was the essence of the period. The DCE also visited the Presbyterian, Methodist and the Evangelical Church of Ghana (ECG) at Bole and the Calvary Assemblies of God Church at Mandari.

She urged Christians to be tolerant, accept the views of others and to serve the good Shepherd, Jesus Christ to win more souls. Madam Forgor shared with the various Church members especially the children, food, drinks and biscuits and urged them to show love especially to the sick and to devote their lives to the service of God and the country.

She also advised the people who had not registered with the National Insurance Scheme to do so to have access to quality medical care. The DCE later visited the Bole District Hospital where she also shared food, drinks and biscuits with the patients and wished them speedy recovery. She commended the nurses on duty for their dedication.
