BHOBI holds gradation and ordination ceremony

Accra, March 26, GNA - The Bishop Harrison Overcomers Bible Institute (BHOBI) on Saturday held its Sixth Graduation and Ordination for 89 graduands, who passed out with Pastoral Diploma, in Accra. The BHOBI which started in 2004 with 50 students currently has a population of 3,000 students.

The General Over Seer of Overcomers Bible Church, Dr. Benjamin Arko Harrison, said BHOBI was committed to inculcating the fear of God in students irrespective of their religious, gender, and political background. Dr. Harrison said the institute was also devoted to fighting social vices such as sexual promiscuity, immorality, drug abuse, theft and robbery.

He said that 93we are not training pastors for our churches alone but also open our doors to all professionals groups, government institutions, private organisations, business entities and individuals to attain Christian values". Dr. Harrison said the Institution had designed a programme in business administration to enable students acquire employable skills so that they would not be a burden on the flock they would serve in the future.

He said BHOBI would also introduce programmes in agriculture and agric-business towards increased food production and Information and Communication Technology. Dr. Harrison said: 93Our institute does not charge anything for teaching and students are required to only acquire basic teaching material and pay a token for administrative work". He asked the grandaunt not to be immoral, deceptive, fraudulent, lazy and to be good ambassadors of the Institution. 26 March 11
